Twilight Zone references- Rod Sterling’s opening lines and appearance in the introduction video during the queue– ” Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. There is a display case in the exit hallway of the Tower Of Terror attraction at Disneyland that contains two items relating to the A Thing about Machines episode. One is a typewriter (with the GET OUT OF HERE FINCHLEY message); the card next to it reads “Almost Writes By Itself”. There is also an electric razor; its card reads “Has A Long Cord – Can Follow You Everywhere”. The queue at California Adventure features a reference to the Twilight Zone episode “Little Girl Lost.” Chalk marks on the wall are in the same place they were in the episode when trying to find where the portal to find the girl was. This can be found in the upper level of the boiler room next to the attraction warning signage. Periodically the girls voice can be heard calling out for help from the wall and from the radios around the boiler room. If you look around in the boiler room before you get on the ride, there are a lot of references to the original TZ TV show. Along one of the walls is the reference to the show where the little girl goes through her wall in her bedrooom and gets caught in space. In the show her dad used a chalk outline to find the portal. You can hear the girl crying behind the wall if you find the chalk out line. It is on a wall at the top of the metal stairs near the big boiler.

the disappearing room effect at 4:30 is one of the coolest effects I’ve ever seen in a ride, you cant really see it in the video, but in real life it really looks like that hallway just disappears!

Never been on this ride! Is california disneyland tower of terror the same as disneyword’s one?? Im soooo scared I think I’ll have a heart attack if im on this!! How big is the drop? Does it make your heart thud until it falls off? If it does, I’m not going.
