Question by alexix: Disneyland discounts for southern california residents?
My family and I area all meeting at Disneyland soon, a friend of mine told me that residents of southern california get discounts at the gate if they show id. Does anybody know if this is true? I have a brother who lives in San Diego and we’ll have him purchase the tickets if this is true. Also if it is, does any person know how significantly they go for, i’d like to compare the costs. Thank you!

Disney is not currently offering a discounted Southern California 1-Day Park Hopper at the Web site. Vons Supermarkets may be selling these tickets, but call ahead to confirm. Proof of residency will be required when redeeming them at Disneyland (Vons will happily sell you the ticket voucher regardless of where you are from but you still need to be an appropriate resident to use it.
