Question by cyrusman122000: Why does Disneyland have blackout dates on their annual passes?
It truly upsets me that they give annual passes, but they have so many blackout dates. What’s up with that?? They should just make 1 pass that provides you to go 365 days a year. What would be wrong with that? I feel I’d be obtaining ripped off if they blackout all summer and holiday season! What’s wrong with permitting us to go all the time?!?!

They do have a pass like that. It’s the Premium Annual Passport, and comes with a premium pricetag ($ 459). The much less high-priced passes have fewer available days and so their prices are less.

They do offer a pass that allows admission for 365 days a year. You just didn’t buy that pass. Instead you bought the cheaper one with blackout dates.
There actually is a pass that offers that. It is just a Premium Annual Pass and the price for it is much higher than the other Annual Passes. If you decide to upgrade your pass for some more money you will be able to attend all of those blackout dates!
